Break On Through (#68)

Are you wondering…WHAT AM I REALLY HERE TO DO?

Do you sense that you have much value to offer, yet others don’t fully see it in you?

That’s pretty frustrating.

Maybe you don’t have a clue what you were born to do even though you suspect something’s there.

Maybe you have an idea of what it is, but you don’t have enough clarity to know what to do about it.

Maybe you know what your natural talents are but you don’t believe you know enough or are good enough at them yet.

Maybe you know what your mission is but can’t quite articulate it.

Maybe you’ve spelled it out to others clearly but they just don’t get it or think it’s important.

…or maybe you’re scared silly to even put yourself out there and follow your heart.

Does any of this resonate?

I’ve been through it all. I know the pain of each step and what it takes to move forward.

Read on to see why it’s JUST SO IMPORTANT to pay attention to the part of you that knows you’re meant for more.

If you lack direction or you keep getting signals that prevent you from doing what inspires you, it’s easy to just leave things as they are. One of my favorite lines that I hear a lot is “Well something else came up so it must be a sign from the universe that I’m not meant to change directions right now. I’ll do it soon though. I’m sure about that!”

The people who say this hardly ever follow through.

It is true that the universe gives us signs, yet knowing how to interpret those signs is another thing. (Hint: the universe never wants you to be powerless, miserable, or putting your life on standby. 🙂

You could be in a holding pattern forever. There are always reasons to put off the life that appeals to you. You can always make excuses for not knowing what the next step is. What’s my advice?

Get help and go for it!

Living fully and contributing according to how you’re designed is the most important thing you can possibly do. Here’s why:

Without you living fully and exchanging your value…

-the frustration and unhappiness will continue to build inside of you

-you’ll indulge in more ways to numb out

-you’ll spend more on meaningless distractions and ways to cope

-you’ll physically feel more depleted

-depression will build

-the people you’re meant to help will continue to feel lost

-you’ll feel like you’ve wasted your time here

How does all that sit with you?

Turning this around, imagine what’s possible on the other side. What if you did take that forward action step, or you did ask for help?

If you just took that one next action toward the clarity, the support, the acceptance, the confidence, would it be worth it? How could things change?

If you broke through the monotony, experienced a fulfilling life and expressed your value…

-you could truly enjoy yourself

-your excitement and inspiration could be contagious!

-it would be much easier to make money doing what you love while you support others in a way that’s easy and natural for you

-stagnation would give way to flow

-you’d be a great role model for the people around you

-you’d smash through those regrets about not living fully

-you’d know you truly had done your best

 -you’d feel free and alive

What if your decision to discover and fulfill what you’re here to do could have a massive positive impact for even just one person? Maybe it’s someone close to you…

Would you do it?

It starts with one step.

“You know the day destroys the night

Night divides the day

Tried to run

Tried to hide

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side, yeah

We chased our pleasures here

Dug our treasures there

But can you still recall

The time we cried

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side”

Please share this with one other person who could benefit.

Until next time,
